A 4 oz bag is a pound of food

Freeze drying takes the water out, so the bag feels small. Put the water back and you have about two cups — roughly a pound of food. That is the number worth comparing on.

  1. Empty a bag into a bowl.

  3. Stir, and leave it five minutes.
  4. Serve. Keep leftovers in the fridge and use within five days.

Switching from kibble? Mix a little in and build up over a week. A sudden change upsets most dogs whatever the food.
